Preliminary plan of the monumental building complex at Kazakl'i-yatkan showing the provenance of the tulip fragment (4) and the mushroom shaped ornamentation (5)

In addition to figurative scenes, the 'portrait' gallery and the procession scene, numerous fragments of wall paintings show what appear to be more ornamental images, such as vegetal or floral motifs.  Similar motifs were also found on fragments of moulded copper alloy, which were evidently also used to decorate the building complex.
