Dr Gairatdin
Khozhaniyazov is Head of the Department of Archaeology at the Institute for
History, Archaeology and Ethnography, Nukus. His key research interests are
the fortifications of urban settlements in the ancient and medieval periods in
Chorasmia, and those of the Karakalpak people. |
